This is such a pretty vintage snake ring. Crafted in a buttery 18ct gold, the shank coils around the finger comfortably in a UK size O, which is a US size 7 1/4. It weighs a healthy 3.70g. It is marked 18ct gold on the inside of the shank and I would date it to the end of the 1940s, possibly 1950s.

This handsome chap has sparkling blue sapphire eyes. What sets this vintage snake apart from others is that the ornate engraving is present over the entirely of snake's body, not just on the head and shoulders. This gives the whole ring fantastic texture and detail. The gallery width measures 9mm providing great finger coverage.
